Our Story

Established in 1997 by the founding owner Stephen Povey. Sadly Stephen retired from the business in 2018 but the standards and dreams live on. We strive to become one best certified organic butcher in Brisbane. This is more then just a dream, it is a way of life and a fantastic opportunity to bring healthier, safer, natural and nutritious grass-fed organic meats to our customers. We are proudly passionate about our products so much so that we have been supplying to greater Brisbane area and its neighbouring cities for 19 years and look forward to continuing to supply for future generations.
Organics to us means much more than great tasting meat. It means the opportunity to deliver people a healthier product that’s free of hormones, additives and chemicals. Allowing those with food intolerances and allergies to feel good about what they eat. Choosing Organics gives the peace of mind that we are all contributing to reduce our impact on global warming, by making the decision to support traditional farming methods for the benefit of this and future generations of Australians. By raising the awareness of organics we can increase the demand for produce, fair pricing and encourage more farmers to adopt organic farming methods.
We are proud to be working with and supporting a network of like-minded Certified Organic farmers who have been with us since our humble beginnings. The Meat-Ting Place Organics is a fully Certified Organic Company, we strive to make sure our products are of the highest quality and are brought straight from the farm to you. We are proud to follow the National Austalian Certified Organic Standards.
